Position Summary

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with the GT-SUITE development and product teams to deliver top-quality software to our users. Throughout the software development lifecycle, you will create, document, maintain, and perform manual tests to ensure minimal shipped defects and timely fixes due to ongoing development. When appropriate, managing automated tests will also ensure high-quality software, however, manual testing is expected to be the primary responsibility. Functional, integration, and acceptance testing will be a key part of the job. While your role will have a particular focus on the UI/UX aspects of our software, other parts of the software will also require attention.

Ihre Aufgaben

Als Mitglied des Applikationsteams unterstützen Sie unsere europäischen Kunden bei der zielgerichteten Anwendung der Simulationsplattform GT-SUITE und nutzen die dabei erworbenen Kenntnisse zur Unterstützung bei Neu- und Weiterentwicklungen.

Zu den wesentlichen Aufgaben dieser Position gehören:

Kundenunterstützung bei der Softwarenutzung im Bereich Thermal Management
Betreuung von Evaluierungsprojekten bei potenziellen Neukunden
Durchführung von Machbarkeitsstudien zur Nutzung der Software außerhalb der klassischen Anwendungsbereiche
Unterstützung der internen Softwareentwicklung und Validierung neuer Modelle und Features
Durchführung von Schulungen
Teilnahme an Fachkonferenzen und Arbeitskreisen

Ihre Qualifikation

Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Maschinenbau, Fahrzeugtechnik, Verfahrenstechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, o. Ä.)
Gute Kenntnisse in Thermodynamik, Wärme- und Stoffübergang, Strömungsmechanik und Numerik
Kenntnisse im Bereich 2-Phasenströmung
Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Interdisziplinäres Denken und Handeln, selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie Teamfähigkeit, Belastbarkeit und Flexibilität
Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Reisen innerhalb Europas und zum GT-Hauptsitz in den USA
Erfahrung in der 1-D Simulation von Vorteil (Dymola, KULI, AMESim, GT-SUITE)
Programmierkenntnisse von Vorteil (Matlab, Python, o. Ä.)
Erfahrung mit 3D CFD von Vorteil
