 What You Will Do

You will assist our clients, get the most out of our software, and use the knowledge gained from these interactions to continuously enhance our software, we are searching for an experienced, imaginative, and bright application engineer to join our Mechanical Application Engineering Group.

We are particularly aiming to expand our Mechanical Application Engineering team. This team assists our clients in using our GT-SUITE software platform to simulate the operation of electric motors, pumps, and compressors as well as whole 3-D vehicle systems and vehicle powertrains.

  • Evaluate and resolve technical support requests submitted via email, phone, or other channels.
  • Be the first line of defense in solving customer support requests and coordinating and prioritizing timely resolution independently and with the engagement of DevOps teams.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives to appropriately map features and associated business benefits to address their needs.
  • Serve as a customer advocate in shaping and driving the Drive Train &Vehicle Mechanics product roadmap, enhancements, and improvements; Conduct independent research aimed at designing and defining new software features and functionality.
  • Facilitate customer trainings to ensure customer satisfaction and retention as well as maximum usage of our product.
  • Identify trends and inefficiencies to enhance support processes and improve the user experience.
  • Mentor, coach, and train new team members.
  • Support of evaluation projects for potential new customers.
  • Support of internal software development and validation of new models and features.
  • Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows and methodologies using GT-SUITE.
  • Participation in specialist conferences and working groups.

 What You Will Bring

  • Master’s degree in automotive, mechanical, process, aerospace engineering, etc.
  • 3 years of work experience designing powertrains and/or engines, including measurement and instrumentation, and controls is highly preferred; entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Previous participation in SAE student competitions (g. Formula SAE, Formula Hybrid) or activities in similar societies or consortiums is also a benefit.
  • Technical expertise in the following, used to support current and prospective customers:
    • Gear Design
    • Electrified Powertrains
    • Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH)
  •  Experience with the following:
    • Transmission and geartrain applications, research, and/or commercial software tools (e.g., SABR, Romax, Masta, KISSsoft)
    • Flexible Bodies and Finite Element methods and tools (e.g., Abaqus, Altair, Ansys, Nastran, FEARCE)
    • 3-D MBD software (e.g., MSC Adams, Simpack) skills are an advantage
    • Programming skills are an advantage (Matlab, Python, etc.)

 What You Will Do

You will be supporting our customer growth initiatives with a focus on the technical perspective. You will be participating in opportunities at any stage of the sales process, that requires technical advice. From qualification to evaluation, you will be the main technical interface between the client and GT. Your analysis of customer technical requirements and the development of suitable solutions will ensure a successful proof of value for the prospect and help with driving business growth for Gamma Technologies. In addition, you will also be responsible for generating and publishing technical content, that can be used to market and prove GT´s value for the system simulation community through various channels.

  • Act as the primary solution consultant throughout the entire sales cycle, from early discovery to closing
  • Support the Sales team during the discovery and qualification phases by identifying customer needs and aligning them with GT’s solutions
  • Perform thorough “as-is” analyses of customer environments to understand current workflows, challenges, and goals
  • Assess and clearly articulate GT’s capabilities in addressing customer requirements, aligning technical solutions with business value
  • Demonstrate and explain GT’s offerings to meet specific customer requirements; collaborate with the Applications team for deeper technical insights as needed
  • Co-develop strategies with Sales to shorten the sales cycle and reduce reliance on proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts
  • Lead and support product evaluations, aiming to independently manage the process when feasible
  • Engage and coordinate with Application Engineers when specialized subject matter expertise or extended evaluation support is required
  • Present solutions and recommendations to customers and prospects with clarity and confidence
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of opportunities within Salesforce
  • Coordinate and manage customer requests for training or consulting engagements related to sales opportunities
  • Contribute to marketing, branding, and customer engagement initiatives to strengthen GT’s market presence

 What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer at Gamma Technologies or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven knowledge and experience in software consulting and/or technical support
  • Familiarity with CAE tool development processes
  • Strong understanding of the intersection between engineering solutions and business value
  • Enthusiastic about high levels of customer interaction and relationship building
  • Knowledge in GT-SUITE or similar CAE-software, with experience across multiple applications is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of enterprise solutions for deployment, optimization and automation
  • Experience using Salesforce for opportunity management and customer engagement
  • Python, Matlab or similar scripting skills are a plus
  • Demonstrated selling skills, including objection handling, value proposition development, and value-based analysis

What You Will Do

You will be at the heart of our European operations, reporting directly to management and working closely with the local team on a variety of tasks.   • Office Administration: Manage day-to-day office operations, including purchasing (e.g., hardware and supplies), answering incoming calls, and supporting corporate legal, accounting, and HR teams in the coordination of various projects and tasks.

Your tasks would include analyzing data, managing HiL rigs, and developing control system models.   • Vehicle testing and experiment acquisition

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class technical support to our customers in the use of our GT SUITE software platform to model the mechanics of vehicle powertrains from conventional internal combustion engines to battery electric configurations.  Models can range in fidelity from 1-D to fully 3-D multi-body dynamics (MBD) and can extend beyond powertrain to other machinery applications such as pumps, compressors, and other auxiliaries.

This team assists our clients in using our GT-SUITE software platform to simulate a wide variety of machinery including electric motors, pumps, compressors, internal combustion engines, transmissions, and other systems that span multiple industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and resolve technical support requests submitted via email, phone, or other channels.
  • Be the first line of defense in solving customer support requests and coordinating and prioritizing timely resolution independently and with the engagement of DevOps teams.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives to appropriately map features and associated business benefits to address their needs.
  • Serve as a customer advocate in shaping and driving the Mechanics product roadmap, enhancements, and improvements.
  • Facilitate customer trainings to ensure customer satisfaction and retention as well as maximum usage of our product.
  • Identify trends and inefficiencies to enhance support processes and improve the user experience.
  • Support of evaluation projects for potential new customers.
  • Support of internal software development and validation of new models and features.
  • Develop customer-tailored simulation workflows and methodologies using GT-SUITE.
  • Participation in specialist conferences and working groups.

Education, Experience and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • Masters of Science University degree (mechanical, aerospace engineering, automotive, etc.)
  • Ideally, 3 years of work experience designing powertrains and/or engines, including measurement and instrumentation, and controls.
  • Previous participation in SAE student competitions (g. Formula SAE, Formula Hybrid) or activities in similar societies or consortiums is also a benefit.
  • Technical expertise in the following, used to support current and prospective customers:
    • Rotating Machinery Design and Analysis
    • Electrified Powertrains
  • Experience with the following:
    • 3-D MBD software (e.g., MSC Adams, Simpack, Simcenter 3D, etc.)
    • Flexible Bodies and Finite Element methods and tools (e.g., Abaqus, Altair, Ansys, Nastran) are also an advantage
    • Experience with 1-D System Simulation CAE tools, such as GT-SUITE, Amesim, Dymola, AVL CRUISE M, Simulink, or Modelon Impact is a plus
    • Programming skills are an advantage (Matlab, Python, etc.)

Gamma Technologies LLC is looking for a Senior Accountant I – Distributor and Consulting Practice with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. This position is located in Turin, Italy.

The GT-SUITE engineering simulation software is created, marketed, and sold by Gamma Technologies. Nearly every major automaker in the world uses GT software, which has roots in the automotive industry. Position Summary

This Senior Accountant I – Distributor and Consulting Practice will be reporting to the Revenue Manager who works at the US Corporate Headquarters. Gamma Technologies has software distributors in Japan, Korea, and China as well as a newly established consulting practice. We are seeking a candidate to work from our location in Turin, Italy, to be responsible for managing the opportunities, orders, and revenue recognition from our distributors and consulting practice.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for closely coordinating the status and stages of opportunities and orders from our distributors in Asia (Japan, China, and Korea). This requires maintenance of and update of records in Salesforce that are critical to our forecasting process.
  • Process invoices, revenue plans, and revenue recognition related to revenue streams from distributors.
  • Process invoices, revenue plans, and revenue recognition related to our consulting practice.
  • Work closely with the quoting team to process orders and the licensing team to fulfill orders.
  • Ensure the bookings and revenue are complete, on a monthly basis, as part of the financial close process.
  • Responsible for performing analytics and performance of our distributor and consulting practices’ bookings and revenue performance and trends
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested

Education, Experience, and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • A Master’s degree in accounting or finance is required
  • Previous 4+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience in using Netsuite and Salesforce, a plus
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, coordinate, and meet deadlines
