This class is intended for people with basic experience in GT-suite and no required experience in GT-PowerForge wishing to design power converter or use power converter in system solution with right performance.
This one-day class will aim to be a training session for GT-PowerForge. At the end of the class, you will be autonomous.
This class will consist of a mix of presentations and interactive exercises. The following are the primary topics to be covered:
- Introduction concepts of Power-Forge
- Model building
- Main model assumptions and concepts (Macrocell, switching losses, filter design, etc.)
- Parameter sweep
- Post-processing, filtering, trade-off analysis
- The following converter model building will be interactively made during the training session
- Electrical vehicle inverter design in workflow between GT-PowerForge and GT-SUITE including
- Transistors and filters design
- Vehicule range estimation
- Thermal modeling
Due to the limited number of seats, priority will be given to commercial clients.
