Technical Marketing Engineer – India

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. This position is located in Pune, India.

GT-SUITE engineering simulation software is created, marketed, and sold by Gamma Technologies. Nearly every major automaker in the world uses GT software. With the aid of our technologies, automakers can create more environmentally friendly cars that function just as well as conventional models while also getting better gas mileage. Because our software enables electrical vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers develop better vehicles, the shift from conventional internal combustion engines (ICE) fueled by gasoline or diesel fuel to electrified vehicles creates a huge market potential for GT’s suite of simulation products.

Position Summary

To assist our international marketing and sales objectives, we are looking for an inventive Technical Marketing Engineer. You will assist in the design of marketing material, support the direct sales team, and contribute your technical experience to the development of our overall marketing campaigns.

As a technical marketing engineer, you must be able to use your technical knowledge, CAD engineering skills and work with the sales and application teams to develop marketing and sales enablement materials for campaigns, social media, websites, and product demonstrations. We are looking for a technical marketing engineer whose knowledge and acumen will enhance the skills of the current teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create presentations and content by acting as a sales and marketing liaison for GT topic matter experts.
  • Become familiar with GT tools and be able to illustrate capabilities and use cases that are specific to customers.
  • Creation/development of information, including blogs, eBooks, and videos of demos.
  • Provide assistance to international teams at events, product launches, and client sites.
  • Feel confident in working on both 1D and 3D simulations.
  • Deliver presentations and perform product demonstrations.
  • Contribute to marketing strategy and planning meetings where market trends, competitors, products, and related technologies are discussed.

 

Education, Experience and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a closely connected field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience as an engineer in a related industry.
  • Advanced proficiency with CAD, simulation software, and 3D rendering.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities (English).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
