Staff Accountant

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Staff Accountant with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant is a key member of our growing Accounting team and will be responsible for a variety of corporate accounting functions and activities including general ledger accounting, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where changes and suggestions to current processes and procedures are encouraged.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process international sales order, revenue bookings and maintain deferred revenue schedules
  • Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly (e.g., prepaid, royalties, deferred revenue, fixed assets, and others)
  • Complete period-end accounting close procedures and deliverables while maintaining GAAP compliance such as journal entries, reconciliations, and reports
  • Prepare sales tax reporting in several states
  • Process online vendor payments and 3rd party royalty calculations
  • Prepare, report, and pay royalties
  • Assist in other general accounting activities

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy from an accredited university
  • 2 years’ experience in general accounting
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications with intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills required
  • Prior ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred
  • Software industry experience a plus
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
