Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented and highly motivated Build Release Engineer who will work closely with engineers, developers and testers to enable high-quality software development. You will be part of a growing team to drive the development, administration and maintenance of build/release processes supporting Continuous Integration (CI)/Test Driven Development (TDD) initiatives allowing for rapid development, validation, debugging, and integration with the downstream production release pipeline. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth programming, building and debugging skills. Current programmers who are looking to diversify are encouraged to apply.

The end goal is to take ownership of our build systems and bring them to the next level, improving upon transparency, accountability and automated notifications, ease of use, configurability, reliability. Before improving the systems, you will master our existing build systems, while working closely with our various teams to quickly understand our CAE tools, testing procedures, model structure and simulation data flow.

Job Responsibilities

Extend and maintain existing Continuous Integration (CI/CD) systems.
Monitor/research and address production incidents.
Collaborate with developers/engineers to resolve defects detected by automated build and/or testing systems.
Troubleshoot source code management, dependency management and deployment issues.
Create and own a coherent build configuration across multiple products utilizing several programming languages.
Maintain the company-wide library of dependent artifacts, assure OSS compliance.
Extend and maintain tools to further automate build, testing, deployment, and configuration management processes.
Support developers with usage and training on software build and configuration tools.

Education, Experience and Skills

BS degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering
Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical people.
Hands-on experience in application troubleshooting, debugging, and memory profiling.
Professional experience developing production code in Java, C, and C++
Exposure to automation, quality testing and build systems.
Self-starter and fast learner with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Scripting experience in Linux shells and Python.
Strong knowledge of a build process in Java (javac, Maven, Gradle) and C/C++ (gcc, Visual Studio, make, CMake), and relevant dependency management.

Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented and self-starting application engineer to join our Support and Applications Group to help our customers get the most out of our software and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to continuously improve our software. Position Summary

You will join our 3D GUI development team which actively develops innovative graphical solutions for engineers and to transform 3D CAD objects into mathematical engineering models of fluid flow and mechanical components. Your role will be to improve and maintain the 3D code. You will be exposed to the development process in the 3D group and you will have the opportunity to learn how mathematical models are designed and implemented in the software. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities. Education, Experience and Skills

Currently in the Junior or Senior year of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, applied math, or any related field with 3.5/4 GPA
Background in programming languages, Java, Python or Perl
Background in 3D graphics rendering, with OpenGL or DirectX

We are looking for a creative, focused self-starter to work as a software developer in the area of mechanical systems. You would join our mechanics development team and work in a collaborative development environment, on projects to develop and enhance models of motion, vibrations, friction and durability in automotive applications and beyond. As GT maintains an integrated and multi-physics development approach, you will also collaborate with application engineers on product design, and with developers of other physical domains such as fluid flow, thermal, electrical and controls on multi-physics solutions.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, test and maintain rigid and flexible multi-body dynamics (MBD), kinematics, contact mechanics and tribology models applicable to dynamics, durability, noise, vibration, friction and wear issues in engine, powertrain and vehicle mechanical subsystems and beyond.
Work, within a mature platform and mathematical solution architecture, on projects focused on physical modeling, computational performance, scalability, user-friendliness and 3D visualization aspects of MBD models.
Test computational models in the context of integrated simulations of real-life systems aimed at addressing customers’ product design, performance and durability issues.
Collaborate with other developers and application engineers on functional and I/O requirements and design of models. Adaptation of models to user requirements.

Education, Experience and Skills

PhD in Mechanical Engineering, or PhD candidate who has completed defense of his/her dissertation with focus on multi-body dynamics of rigid and flexible bodies.
GPA 3.5 / 4.0
2+ years of academic or industry experience with computational modeling of mechanical systems, e.g. kinematics, multi-body dynamics, vibrations, FEA etc.
Experience with engineering programming languages such as Fortran, C++.
Experience with commercial/research MBD tools.
Familiarity with engine and powertrain subsystems such as cranktrains, valvetrains, gear, chain and belt drive systems, vehicle drivelines and transmissions.
Modeling of contact kinematics, tribology and hydrodynamic fluid film lubrication.
Experience with technologies for enhancement of model performance and scalability, such as model reduction, sparse systems and parallelization.

Position Summary
We are looking for a creative, talented, and self-starting application engineer to join our Support and Applications Group to help our global customers get the most out of our software and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to continuously improve our software. Gamma Technologies develops GT-SUITE and AutoLion, sophisticated desktop software packages for simulating almost any kind of engineering multi-physics system, such as those arising in the automotive, aerospace, and other industries, involving fluid, thermal, mechanical, electromagnetic, chemical, and controls elements.
