Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented, and highly motivated solver developer to join our thermal fluids solver development team. The applicant will be involved in the development and testing of advanced computational schemes for finite element-based modeling of thermal components and structures used by various thermal management applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work on advancing the development of a 3D thermal finite element solver for enhancing its reliability and computational speeds.
  • Maintain and update features related to modeling of conduction, convection, and radiation in 1D and 3D.
  • Improve and maintain the interaction of the thermal FE solver with other physical domains in GT-SUITE (electrical, flow, reactive, etc.).
  • Contribute towards enhancing the post-processing user experience as it relates to the thermal FE solution.
  • Keep up with industry trends and new technologies by attending suitable conferences and building a professional network.

  • PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with a focus on developing finite element-based solutions.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D meshing strategies and processing schemes.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following three languages: FORTRAN, C, C++.
  • Strong fundamental understanding of the physics governing heat transfer and its significance in the design of thermal management systems.

Sr. Accountant – Financial Reporting and Compliance

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant II – Financial Reporting & Compliance will report to the Controller and will mainly support the financial reporting process by working on the preparation of monthly internal reports and KPIs, quarterly investor reporting, compliance with lending reporting requirements, and assisting in the preparation of the annual audited financial statement. This role will be responsible for the global consolidation financial close process, and analysis of results and will also assist the controller with other technical accounting matters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, related footnotes, and analysis
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly lender presentations
  • Assist in the global consolidation financial close process, making sure all intercompany transactions are recorded and eliminated at the consolidated level and ensuring that all monthly close procedures are performed
  • Partner with the FP&A manager to accumulate booking information and KPIs to incorporate in the monthly financial reporting process and deliverables to management and investors.
  • Assist with technical accounting research and analysis. Provide guidance to other members of the team (US and International subsidiaries) on accounting matters and process improvements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the annual audit process with external auditors (financial statement and tax provision)
  • Build relationships with cross-functional areas to promote strong processes and financial controls
  • Develop, refine, and improve consolidation and financial reporting process

Content Development

Position Summary

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with the GT-SUITE development and product teams to deliver top-quality software to our users. Throughout the software development lifecycle, you will create, document, maintain, and perform manual tests to ensure minimal shipped defects and timely fixes due to ongoing development. When appropriate, managing automated tests will also ensure high-quality software, however, manual testing is expected to be the primary responsibility. Functional, integration, and acceptance testing will be a key part of the job. The role will involve both UI/UX aspects and physics (solver) aspects of GT-SUITE.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that released software meets desired high-quality standards
  • Verify UX features are implemented correctly (e.g. dialogs display correct data, workflows are correct, etc.)  
  • Verify physics features are implemented correctly (e.g. correct equations, various permutations of inputs, etc.)  
  • Carry out regular full regression testing of the user-interface 
  • Maintain user interface software tests to ensure full coverage of the software as features are updated 
  • Solicit information from the development and product teams to add new tests as required by new developments made to the software 
  • If issues are found in the software, log the items in Gamma’s development database and follow up with developers to test once fixed 
  • Help determine when issues were introduced into the software 
  • Monitor automated tests and take action to resolve issues when they are flagged
