Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented, and highly motivated solver developer to join our thermal fluids solver development team. The applicant will be involved in the development and testing of advanced computational schemes for finite element-based modeling of thermal components and structures used by various thermal management applications.

Job Responsibilities

Work on advancing the development of a 3D thermal finite element solver for enhancing its reliability and computational speeds.
Maintain and update features related to modeling of conduction, convection, and radiation in 1D and 3D.
Improve and maintain the interaction of the thermal FE solver with other physical domains in GT-SUITE (electrical, flow, reactive, etc.).
Contribute towards enhancing the post-processing user experience as it relates to the thermal FE solution.
Keep up with industry trends and new technologies by attending suitable conferences and building a professional network.

Education, Experience, and Skills

PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) with a focus on developing finite element-based solutions.

Strong fundamental understanding of the physics governing heat transfer and its significance in the design of thermal management systems.

The Senior Accountant II – Financial Reporting & Compliance will report to the Controller and will mainly support the financial reporting process by working on the preparation of monthly internal reports and KPIs, quarterly investor reporting, compliance with lending reporting requirements, and assisting in the preparation of the annual audited financial statement. This role will be responsible for the global consolidation financial close process, and analysis of results and will also assist the controller with other technical accounting matters.

Assist in the global consolidation financial close process, making sure all intercompany transactions are recorded and eliminated at the consolidated level and ensuring that all monthly close procedures are performed
Partner with the FP&A manager to accumulate booking information and KPIs to incorporate in the monthly financial reporting process and deliverables to management and investors.

This role will assist the User Experience team in developing our model builder (GT-ISE). This function is anticipated to change in a similar manner when we embark on the path to convert GT’s desktop apps into online applications.

Position Summary

As a Product Engineer in the User Experience team, you will help our customers get the most out of our software with GT-SUITE’s sophisticated user interface that enables our customers to build, run, and analyze output produced by our physics engine.

Building models often occurs within collaborative environments at our clients, and we deliver the capabilities to efficiently re-use data, share subsystems of larger models with other groups, and deploy front-end interfaces (including web-based) for users with different levels of experience. Running models involves model validation and real-time run-time monitoring, requiring extensive user experience design.

Post-processing involves setting up customized reports and utilizing data analytics techniques ranging from data smoothing and trendline generation to using sophisticated machine learning techniques to answer engineering questions. Visualization is also a key capability that allows our customers to generate plots, tables, and diagrams that allow effective digestion of physical trends to make engineering decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Develop advanced algorithms for thermo-physical properties calculation of gas-phase reactive systems.

Optimize existing code for high execution speed and low memory footprint.
Stay up to date with the latest literature and contribute to the publication of journal papers.
