As part of our GT Application Engineer Rotation Program, you’ll gain broad technical exposure and hands-on experience through targeted rotations, preparing you for a long-term career as an Application Engineer with GT.
About the Program
The GT Application Engineer Development Program is a unique opportunity for recent graduates to launch their careers as Application Engineers at Gamma Technologies. Over the first one to two years, participants gain hands-on experience through targeted rotations across specialized teams, including Thermo-Fluids, Electrical, System-Level Integration, Mechanical, Chemistry, and Engine Performance.
This program is designed to provide a deep understanding of our business and build valuable technical skills. Participants work closely with industry experts and contribute to meaningful projects from day one. By the end of the program, they are well-positioned for long-term career growth at GT.
What You Will Do
- Assist customers in their use of GT software to design and simulate their systems
- Use customer feedback and interaction to design and test new product features
- Carry out proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate cutting edge software solutions to prospective customers
- Interact with established and emerging automotive companies through training classes, conferences, and marketing events.
- Be a key voice in evangelizing Gamma Technologies’ critical role in helping automotive companies on the Road to Zero Carbon.
- Opportunity for travel, including international.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Desired GPA 3.5/4.0
- Currently enrolled student or recent graduate, with availability to begin employment in May or June 2026
Additional Qualifications Desired:
- Hands-on experience through student engineering competitions (e.g., EcoCAR, Battery Workforce Challenge, Baja SAE, Formula SAE, or comparable programs)

- The expected annual base salary range for this role is $80,000 – $85,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
