Analyst / Sales Operations

Gamma Technologies develops, markets, and sells engineering simulation software called GT-SUITE. GT-SUITE is used by over 600 companies including all leading OEMs around the world. GT-SUITE comprises a state-of-the-art systems simulation solver encompassing libraries of fluid dynamic, mechanical, thermal and electromagnetic sub-models plus a sophisticated set of user interfaces including map-based and 3D-based pre- and post-processors. Our software aids in the design and optimization of products in many industries, including Automotive, Agriculture, Off-Highway Vehicles, Aerospace, Power Generation, Marine and Rail, and Industrial Machinery. Established in 1994, we are a growing and dynamic global company with headquarters based in Westmont, IL.

Position Summary

The Analyst / Sales Ops position is a valuable role within the organization working closely with Accounting, Sales, and Senior Management to provide timely and accurate reporting of global revenues and related analysis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare revenue variance analysis
  • Support financial forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning process.
  • Sales pipeline maintenance
  • Review and approve sales orders
  • Maintain sales tracker for commission calculation
  • Approve WINS in Salesforce (CRM) and validate contract value/renewal vs. NetSuite (ERP)
  • Assist in management of upcoming contract renewals
  • Revenue flash reports (direct and agent)
  • Design complex ad hoc reports to support a variety of functional areas
  • Board meeting preparation
  • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce dashboard with pre-defined business metrics
  • Improvement of NetSuite based sales metrics reporting process
  • Pricing analyses (macro and customer)

Education and Experience

  • BS Finance or related degree.
  • Working knowledge of ASC606 revenue recognition standard a plus
  • Revenue modeling
  • Ability to process large amounts of data into meaningful and actionable metrics
  • 5 – 7 years of experience
  • Creative, curious, and critical thinker who enjoys process improvement and problem solving
  • Experience interacting and influencing all levels of the organization with confidence by building trust and rapport

Technology Skills

  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system preferred. Knowledge of NetSuite’s ARM module desirable
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills
