Gamma Technologies Announces Official Transition from Exothermia Suite to GT-xCHEM

Gamma Technologies (GT), a global leader and innovator in multi-physics systems simulation software, announces the planned phase-out of Exothermia Suite and the full transition to its next-generation solution, GT-xCHEM, a powerful add-on to GT-SUITE. This strategic shift reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing aftertreatment and chemical system modeling capabilities for the mobility and power industries.

GT-xCHEM builds upon the legacy of Exothermia Suite by offering all the familiar features users rely on, along with significant new capabilities for exhaust aftertreatment, evaporative emissions, and chemical system simulation. It enables tighter integration with GT-SUITE, allowing users to benefit from greater modeling flexibility and enhanced workflow efficiency.

Key Milestones in the Transition:

  • End of feature development for Exothermia Suite. Only critical bug fixes and security updates will be provided in future updates.
  • Support for Exothermia Suite v2022 will end on December 31, 2026.
  • Support for Exothermia Suite v2023 will end on August 31, 2027.
  • No new Exothermia Suite licenses will be issued after December 31, 2025. Exothermia Suite v2023.4 users can continue using Exothermia Suite under a GT-xCHEM license (Exothermia Suite v2023.4 provides the option to use GT-xCHEM license scheme instead of Exothermia Suite license scheme).

Tools and Support for a Smooth Migration:

To assist customers, Gamma Technologies has released the ET-Suite Migrator, a free tool that automates the migration process from Exothermia Suite to GT-xCHEM and compares model results for validation. The ET-Suite Migrator tool is free of charge for 2025-2026 Exothermia contract renewals. Technical support and resources are also available to guide customers through the transition.

Why Switch to GT-xCHEM?

GT-xCHEM is the comprehensive solution for modern emissions challenges. It enhances Exothermia’s foundation with broader chemical modeling support, deeper integration, and scalable capabilities for next-gen applications, including hydrogen fuel reformers, CO₂ capture and storage, and other chemical processing systems.
