Predictive Combustion (Diesel)

This class is intended for users with previous experience or users who participate in this free-of-charge Introduction Training.

This course will be conducted online via web meeting.

To reserve your spot, you must have access to the following:

• Computer with GT-SUITE v2020 (the training will be conducted with v2020)
• Access to an active license
• Good internet connection
• Ideally two monitors/devices (although not a must-have)
  • one to follow the instructor on the web meeting (web browser only)
  • one to use GT-SUITE for interactive model building

This one-day course is intended for experienced GT-SUITE users, managers, and group leaders of engine performance and gas exchange simulation groups. This course will focus on predictive diesel combustion and emissions modeling in GT-POWER.

The course will include exercises for measured cylinder pressure analysis and predictive combustion model calibration. It will cover the following topics:

• Cylinder pressure analysis
• Injector/injection rate modeling
• Predictive diesel combustion model calibration
• Emissions
• Dual-fuel combustion
