This class is intended for experienced users or users who participate in this free-of-charge Introduction Training.

This class is intended for GT-SUITE users interested in enhancing their productivity by learning how to use the optimization tools included in the software.

This course will be conducted online via web meeting.

To reserve your spot, you must have access to the following:

  • Computer with GT-SUITE v2021 (the training will be conducted with v2021, but if you only have v2020 or v2019 that is acceptable)
  • Access to an active license
  • Good internet connection
  • Ideally two monitors/devices (although not required)
    • one to follow the instructor on the web meeting (web browser only)
    • one to use GT-SUITE for interactive model building

The class will cover setup, execution and postprocessing of the integrated design optimizer and the GT DOE (Design of Experiments) tool. The handling will be practiced in simple exercises. The following topics will be discussed in detail:

    • Fast Data Analysis
    • Creation and Cross-validation of Metamodels

    • Exporting metamodels back to GT-ISE
    • Monte Carlo DOE Sampling & Variability Analysis
  • Distributed Computing
