Gamma Technologies is proud to be part of the 14th International Conference on Compressors and their Systems, taking place September 8–10 at City, St George’s, University of London

This 3-day conference, organized by the Centre for Compressors Technology, is a leading forum for the latest developments in air, gas, and refrigeration compressors, vacuum pumps, and expanders.

Gamma Technologies will have a strong presence at the event, including:

🔹A short course on September 6–7 dedicated to GT-SUITE 1D and Quasi-3D approach for detailed compressor
modelling: physics simulations empowered by ML by Dr. Matteo Luzzi. The short course will cover the following topics:

    • Embedded compressor  , thermal solution (CHT)
    • 1D and Quasi-3D solution of discharge flow acoustics
    • Fluid-Structure-Interaction workflow for scroll compressors
    •  Fault detection analysis, a ML-based tool integrated in GT-SUITE

🔹 Three technical presentations from our experts:

    • On September 9, at 16:30, Sibi Kandasamy will present on “Multiphysics Modeling for Scroll Compressors: Coupling Structural and Thermal Deformations, Elasto-Hydrodynamic Thrust Bearing and Leakage”
    • On September 10, at 13:35, Thomas Mikah will deliver a presentation onScroll Compressor Bearing Design using Integrated Multi-Physics Simulation”
    • On September 10, at 14:00, Dig Vijay will host a presentation on “Investigation of the acoustical response of a CO2 heat pump system”

🔹 A demo workshop in collaboration with Professor Ahmed Kovacevic from PDM Analysis, showcasing how GT-SUITE and our newest tool GT-SCORG advance screw machine simulation.

Accelerating Innovation: The Strategic Role of Modelling and Simulation Across the Product Lifecycle

Today’s competitive landscape compels engineering organizations to deliver faster and more cost-effectively products that are increasingly innovative, reliable, and efficient. This workshop explores how the strategic use of modeling fidelity and the multiphysics simulation environment of GT-SUITE can drive value across the entire product lifecycle—from early concept design to engineering, validation, and predictive maintenance.

Leveraging products like our newest GT-SCORG for screw machine simulation, dedicated workflows for positive displacement machine types, and an integrated optimization and AI/machine learning platform, we’ll demonstrate how GT-SUITE enables engineers to balance model complexity and speed to optimize performance, reduce prototype testing, and accelerate design decisions.

Finally, we’ll show how GT-SUITE tools can ease the creation of high-fidelity digital twins, enabling predictive maintenance strategies that extend asset life, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.

🔹An exhibition booth where you can meet our experts and explore GT solutions firsthand
