Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, talented and self-starting application engineer to join our Support and Applications Group to help our customers get the most out of our software and to leverage the knowledge learned from these interactions to continuously improve our software. Specifically, you would join our vehicle simulation application team whose focus is on modeling of vehicle systems, for performance, fuel economy, energy management, and emissions. Job Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in India in their use of our software to design and analyze their systems
  • Use customer feedback and interaction to design and test new product features
  • Carry out proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the software’s capability to prospective customers
  • Teach training classes on use of the software
  • Opportunity for travel locally and internationally, including North America

Education and Experience

  • MS or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 1 years of experience with GT-SUITE / GT-POWER. CGPA requirement of 8.75/10
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as work collaboratively with colleagues

Technology Skills

  • Experience with vehicle system simulation software such as GT-SUITE, AMESim, AVL Cruise, Matlab/Simulink, or other CAE/simulation tool
  • Experience with fuel economy analysis, or transmission and driveline design
  • Experience with automotive applications, including design, measurement and instrumentation, controls, SAE projects (Formula SAE, Baja SAE, etc.).
