Manager Sales Operations

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Manager Sales Operations to build a long-term career with us.

Position Summary

This role supports Gamma Technologies’ commercial growth strategy as the company’s first sales operations leader. This individual will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and will use their expertise to help us scale our global go-to-market function.

This role coordinates the team’s efforts with overall corporate goals while managing the department’s major projects and operations. Working with the CRO, you will identify improvements needed in current processes and systems (Forecasting, sales stage definition, CRM deployment etc.) and own the implementation of these changes. You will build sales capacity models to determine which hires need to be made, where and when, as we further scale the sales organization. The team will look to you for guidance as you organize their objectives. You will be responsible for data management, reporting, planning, and implementation to drive accountability across the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales operations team while evaluating sales results, drive adoption of our processes and technology investments; increase data collection and reporting while continually gauging sales effectiveness, establish and manage a funnel between sales operations and sales representatives
  • Practical involvement in sales strategy, planning, and operational tasks like forecasting, defining the sales process, establishing territories and quotas, keeping track of headcount, promoting pipeline initiatives, conducting business reviews, improving the sales tool, managing data integrity, and reporting
  • Create, maintain, and continually look to enhance Sales organizational policies, procedures, and resource materials
  • Facilitate and record common reporting requirements among stakeholders to efficiently meet data requirements and analyze results
  • Oversee the workflow, reporting, data integrity, upkeep, user onboarding, and training for the company’s Salesforce CRM. Ensure seamless connection between Salesforce CRM, the company’s enterprise resource planning system, and other related technologies
  • Examine sales data to spot patterns, working with leadership in sales, finance, and marketing to suggest opportunities or areas that could use better
  • Take responsibility for running the company’s sales compensation plans; estimate the cost of commissions for finance; operate as the initial point of contact for all enquiries regarding the commission

 Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Prior Sales Operations experience, preferably with a B-2-B (Saas) software provider that realizes growth through cross sell/expansion into existing clients as well as new customer acquisition
  • Experience with and strong acumen in the following:
    • Salesforce.com; Salesforce certification preferred
    • ERP experience; NetSuite preferred
    • Marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems
    • Extracting and manipulating data from CRM, ERP, and business intelligence platforms, and creating reports, tools, and performing analysis
    • Sales quota development, accrual & payout calculations, and plan administration
    • Finding solutions to problems without the need for step-by-step instructions
  • Advanced MS Excel skills: experience with pivot tables, building complex formulas, and creating financial/compensation modeling
  • Good mix of technical and commercial acumen with the ability to provide technical support and communicate complex concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders
