Account Executive – Texas
Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a results-driven Account Executive, with a strong background in computer-aided engineering (CAE) simulation software sales. Our ideal candidate will work remotely and must reside in Texas within a reasonable distance of an airport.
Position Summary
The Account Executive (“AE”) will work with existing and prospective customers to secure sales opportunities. This will involve the cultivation of relationships, gaining an understanding of customers’ needs, and helping customers realize the value of GT’s software.
This position requires an individual with a commitment to growth, accountability, and a demonstrated track record of selling a complex business-to-business (“B2B”) Computer Aided Engineering (“CAE”) simulation software solution.
This position does not qualify for immigration sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities
- Broaden the use of GT solutions in named GT customers in the Southwestern US territory. (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado, Arkansas).
- Secure annual and multiyear renewals and new business.
- Directly contact leads generated through marketing efforts.
- Attend industry tradeshows and GT customer events.
- Drive outbound sales efforts through prospecting into new departments/divisions/locations of existing customers as well as prospects, while networking to identify and create new business opportunities.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, mechatronics, or a related field) is required.
- Minimum 3 years experience with Computer Aided Engineering (“CAE”) software either as a quota-carrying sales representative OR a pre-sales engineer
- Desire to learn, understand, and apply solutions to customer challenges
- Strong presentation skills, capable of conducting product demonstrations and facilitating technical discussions
- Ability to build customer confidence, cultivate business relationships, and influence others
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, and Microsoft Office is highly preferred
- Track record of achievement and consistent attainment/over-attainment of assigned sales quota
