Senior Engineer – Co-Simulation Software Developer

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Senior Engineer – Co-Simulation Software Developer with a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us for our office in Athens, Greece.

Position Summary

We are looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly motivated software developer to join our co-simulation solutions development team. The applicant will be involved in the development of GT-SUITE, a sophisticated desktop software package for simulating almost any kind of engineering multi-physics system, such as those arising in the automotive, aerospace and other industries, involving fluid, thermal, mechanical, acoustics, electromagnetics, chemistry and controls elements.

This position does not entail travel. The position should appeal to individuals with a deep love of software who are flexible, results-oriented, and appreciate gaining a rich understanding of the purpose of their work and seeing that work rapidly deployed to benefit of our customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop software solutions to seamlessly integrate the GT-SUITE software (including real-time solvers) with other software clients and non-desktop environments, e.g.:
    • Mathworks Simulink (S-functions)
    • Hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) software
    • Functional Mock-up-Inteface (FMI)
  • Communicate effectively with development and applications teams toward general improvement of the software
  • Update existing solvers to incorporate new technologies

Education, Experience and Skills

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

  • Master’s in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Desired GPA for new grads 8.5/10.0
  • 2+ years of professional and/or graduate-level experience with software development
  • Programming proficiency in Fortran and C
  • Experiencing setting up builds using CMAKE
  • HiL software experience
  • Experience with mixed Fortran and C programming
  • Understanding of XCP protocols
  • Rust programming
  • Python
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
