Sales Operations Analyst

Gamma Technologies, LLC (GT) is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to build a long-term career with us.

Position Summary

Based at our world headquarters located in Westmont, IL, the Sales Operations Analyst directly supports Gamma Technologies’ commercial growth strategy through planning, operational effectiveness, and project management.  The incumbent will engage directly with Sales and Finance leadership, the Sales team, and key stakeholders to bring data, structure, and sustainable, scalable processes to drive sales growth and ensure functional alignment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Hands-on participation in sales strategy, planning, and operational activities such as forecasting, sales process definition, territory and quota setting, headcount tracking, pipeline generation initiatives, business reviews, sales tool enhancement, data integrity and management, and reporting.
  • Create, maintain, and continually look to enhance Sales organizational policies, procedures, and resource materials.  Ensure Sales policies, processes, and resources are clearly communicated and being followed and achieving maximum benefit.  Assist in troubleshooting operational issues, proposing changes to systems and processes to fix root causes.
  • Facilitate and document the shared reporting needs across stakeholders to effectively achieve data needs and analysis results.  Develop, present, and maintain sales analytics and dashboards to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s Salesforce CRM including workflow, reporting, data integrity, maintenance, and user onboarding and training.  Ensure accurate and timely integration between Salesforce CRM and Company ERP and other associated systems.
  • Analyze sales performance to identify trends, working with Sales, Finance, and Marketing leadership to highlight areas for improvement or opportunity.
  • Own the administration of the Company’s sales compensation plans. Track plan results and analyze plan effectiveness in achieving business goals and strategy.   Prepare commission expense estimates for Finance.  Serve as a first point-of-contact to research and resolve commission-related inquiries.

 

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ Sales Operations experience, preferably with a B-2-B technology provider that realizes growth through cross sell/expansion into existing clients as well as new customer acquisition
  • Experience with and strong acumen in the following:
    • Salesforce.com; Salesforce certification preferred
    • ERP experience; NetSuite preferred
    • Marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot or similar systems
    • Extracting and manipulating data from CRM, ERP, and business intelligence platforms, and creating reports, tools, and performing analysis
    • Sales quota development, accrual & payout calculations, and plan administration
    • Finding solutions to problems without the need for step-by-step instructions
  • Advanced MS Excel skills:  experience with pivot tables, building complex formulas, and creating financial/compensation modeling
  • Good mix of technical and commercial acumen with the ability to provide technical support and communicate complex concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Assertive and outgoing personality with a desire to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with globally dispersed teams
