This class is intended for experienced users or users who participate in this free-of-charge Introduction Training.

This class is intended for GT-SUITE users interested in enhancing their productivity by learning how to use the optimization tools included in the software.

This course will be conducted online via web meeting.

To reserve your spot, you must have access to the following:

  • Computer with GT-SUITE v2022 (the training will be conducted with v2022, but if you only have v2021 that is acceptable)
  • Access to an active license
  • Good internet connection
  • Ideally two monitors/devices (although not required)
    • one to follow the instructor on the web meeting (web browser only)
    • one to use GT-SUITE for interactive model building

The class will cover setup, execution, and post-processing of the GT-SUITE Optimizer and machine learning capabilities (Design of Experiments tool).  Simple exercises will be included. The following topics will be discussed in detail:

  • GT-SUITE Optimizer
    • Optimization search algorithms
    • Multi-objective optimizations
    • Case-sweep optimization
    • Using with distributed computing
  • Machine Learning
    • Design space sampling with DOE Setup
    • Using the DOE post-processor
    • Creating and exporting metamodels
    • Monte Carlo DOE sampling and variability analysis

Due to the limited room capacity, seats will be allocated preferentially to commercial customers.
