Individual Client Training

Individual client training classes can be scheduled at a customer's request. These training classes last from 2-4 days, depending on the needs of the customer. Typically, this type of training covers 1 day of software fundamentals (GT-ISE, Solver, and Post-Processing), and then 2-3 days of building from scratch a model of a specific engine system or sub-system of interest to the customer. Post-processing and comparing results to experimental data is also included. Normally, the trainee should leave this type of training with a fully built and correlated model.

Classroom Training Events

Gamma Technologies offers classroom-style training classes throughout the year. Classes are held both in the US and in Europe. Classes range from "Basic Training" to "Advanced Special Topic Classes". In this setting, users from many different companies come to learn together. Classroom training is ideal for new hires within your organization, or for users who may not initially have much data to work from.

Upcoming Classroom Events

This section describes the typical yearly schedule of training classes for GT-SUITE and is intended to help users see when the next training will most likely likely occur. More or fewer classes may be offered depending upon demand. If the upcoming trainings do not fit your needs or you would like to schedule a training class at GTI's offices or your facility, please contact us through our contact form.

GT-POWER Basic Training:

North America (Detroit metropolitan area): 2 per year. Early spring (March, usually) and again   following the GT-SUITE conference in November.

Europe: 3 classes per year. One in late winter (February or March), one in late spring (May or June),   both in various cities (Stuttgart, Paris and Birmingham are common), and another following the GT-SUITE conference held in October in Frankfurt.

Advanced GT-POWER Classes: Typically, advanced GT-POWER classes are held after the GT-SUITE conference in the fall. Sometimes they are offered at other times of the year, when interest is high enough. Advanced classes will be offered either to introduce new features for which classroom instruction is desirable or to teach other features in more depth. Examples of advanced classes include Exhaust and Intake System Modeling using GEM and Modeling of Turbochargers in GT-POWER.

Other GT-SUITE Products: Classes for other GT-SUITE products, for example GT-COOL and GT-CRANK, are sometimes offered after the GT-SUITE conferences in the fall, depending upon demand. Please contact GTI to express interest in or schedule a class for any of these other products.
