Gamma Technologies Signs 150th Customer,
Extends Industry Leadership Position

GT-SUITE Customer List Reads Like a Who's Who of Auto Industry Including: The Big 3, Honda, Adam Opel, Audi, BMW, Daimler-Benz, FIAT, Detroit Diesel, Cosworth, FEV, GM Racing, PSA, Saab, Renault F1, Scania, Volvo Truck, VW, Toyota, Nissan and Yamaha.

Westmont IL October 22, 2002 - Gamma Technologies Inc. (GTI), today announced that the company has signed Briggs & Stratton (NYSE:BGG) as a new customer, pushing GTI's customer list to 150, and further extending the company's industry leadership position. Briggs & Stratton will be using GT-POWER in its engine development programs. GT-POWER, a component of GT-SUITE, is the industry's de facto standard engine modeling software for design/analysis, and is being used by practically all world's leading automotive companies and engine consulting firms.

The signing of Briggs & Stratton comes on the heels of DaimlerChrysler's decision earlier this year to adopt GT-POWER for use in engine design at the company's Stuttgart, Germany facilities. It also follows the adoption of GT-POWER for the same purposes at PSA (Peugeot/Citroen) and at FIAT, during 2002.

"Briggs & Stratton has long had a reputation for engineering excellence in its business sector," said Dr. Thomas Morel, President & Founder of GTI. "Briggs & Stratton's decision to adopt GT-POWER as its engine simulation platform is a vote of confidence, that indicates to us that the engineering developments at GTI reflected in the GT-SUITE product, correctly address the needs of the industry."

"Few companies provide the engine modeling technology available in GT-SUITE, " said Suzanne Caulfield, Analysis Engineer, Briggs & Stratton. "GTI's technical capabilities, coupled with their superior support, made our decision to choose GT-POWER an easy one."

With the signing of Briggs & Stratton, GTI's customer list now includes most leading engine and vehicle manufacturers such as: GM, Ford, Chrysler, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Adam Opel, Audi, BMW, Daimler-Benz, FIAT, Detroit Diesel, Cosworth, GM Racing, PSA, Saab, Scania, Volvo Truck, VW, Toyota, Nissan, Yamaha, Mack Truck and Renault F1, as well as a growing number of engine consulting companies including: FEV Motorentechnik, Southwest Research Institute, Cosworth Technology, MIRA, TNO, Prodrive, MSX International, Roush Industries and IAV.
