GT-SUITE V5.2 Released
This version introduces many new capabilities and numerous refinements. Among the more extensive new capabilities are:
- Run-time Monitor (plots) + Case RLT Monitor
(with import of baseline data)
- Implicit solver for rapid exhaust system
warm-up analysis
- Port model -- fuel injection, puddling,
evaporation
- Port model -- integrated thermal solution
with cylinder components
- CO emissions model
- Three-way catalyst model
- LINUX version (solver and CFD coupling
only)
- Real-TDC option for referencing crank-angle
(injection, combustion, valves and all plots)
- Heat release rate calculation as object (directly
in GT-POWER)
- Turbocharger matching object (directly in
GT-POWER)
- Cylinder heat balance graphical output
- GT-MUFFLER: improved CAD support, which
allows import of any STL muffler or air-cleaner shell
- Poppet valve models transferred to GT-POWER
from GT-VTRAIN
- Reed and Reed-Reed valves: new compound
objects based on mechanical components
- HEV's: Electric motor/generator, battery
and electric-load models
- CVT transmission
