GENERAL CS, MATH, PHYSICS, OR SCIENCE POSITION

The Software Tools Design/Support Engineer will participate in all phases of the product development cycle for several key tools within GT-SUITE software that relate to numerical algorithms and data processing. Responsibilities include software design, some coding development (depending on abilities), testing and refinement, documentation, trouble shooting and customer interaction. Likely projects will include working with neural networks, optimization algorithms, distributed computing, linking with external programs such as Matlab/Simulink, licensing, and some miscellaneous IT projects. Candidates should have a strong math or analytical background, effective communication and organizational skills, and a desire to participate in a team environment.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in computer science , physics, engineering, mathematics or related science
• GPA of 3.5 or higher
• Experience with computer programming, neural networks, optimization, and/or Matlab/Simulink are desirable but not required.
