Job Description:
While at the home base, the employee will be expected to work on consulting projects for GTI clients located mainly in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden & UK and other European countries. This position offers an unparallel opportunity for personal growth, international visibility and association with the major aftertreatment OEMs and their clients in Europe. Main activities include:
- Visiting clients for the purposes of developing proposal leads
- Preparing and presenting proposals of projects
- Modelling and simulation projects at the home base or at the customer site
- Providing technical expertise and support to GT-POWER European customers for advanced support of aftertreatment applications
- Training clients on aftertreatment modelling techniques
- Modify & customize software component & models for customer needs.
- Following up on Government and consortium organisation projects
- Supporting the collaboration with our consulting & testing partners
- Develop, test & implement advanced modelling components in GT-POWER in using principles of chemical engineering and advanced object-oriented simulation techniques
Languages Requirement:
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge in German would be a plus
Required Qualifications:
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
- Ph.D in Chemical Engineering or Physical Chemistry
- Previous experience or Graduate education should preferably include: modelling kinetic systems involving catalysts, combustion and/or reactor devices.
- Programming Language: C; Fortran
- CAE tools: knowledge in Matlab and GT-POWER is a plus but not requireds
